White Horse Employment retain their crown and scoops top prize at Wiltshire Business Awards

White Horse Employment Network Ltd is celebrating after scooping the top prizes for the hotly contested “Small Business of the Year” at the 21st annual Wiltshire Business of the Year Awards for the second year running.

The company, which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2013, has spent the last quarter of a century placing thousands of jobseekers and providing commercial and professional recruitment solutions to employers.

It offers a complete employment and recruitment solution for jobseekers and hirers, from SMEs to multi nationals, serving clients throughout Wiltshire, Somerset and beyond.

The judges for the award, which was sponsored by Forward Swindon, said: "After winning this award last year, Beverley has gone on to hire a business coach to improve further, and added new team members to strengthen the offer and commitment to clients. Loved by their customers and clients alike, the work giving back to charity, to the local community and industry is awe inspiring on its own, let along alongside such a strong business."

Beverley Glover, Managing director of White Horse Employment since 1999, said: "I was absolutely thrilled to receive the award. It was totally unexpected – it’s not the norm to win two years in a row. While it was great to win last year, it is even better winning it again this year, especially when you see the fantastic companies that we were up against. It is the biggest category, with very strong competition and winning is such a compliment and achievement. We have a fantastic team who have made this possible, many of whom have been with us for a long time. We have been expanding and taken on new staff, although it is always important to find people that have the same philosophy and values as we do. This is a fabulous set of awards and we congratulate everyone who were selected as winners and finalists."
