Are you looking to gain invaluable experience working in Fundraising, Events and PR?  Would you like to join a company based in Shaftesbury that provides essential support to the community where you can really make a difference? This role is initially on temporary basis, however could become permanent for the right candidate.

 
Reporting to the Director, to you be responsible for organising fundraising events, coordinating with donors, as well as general administrative duties. Duties to include: 
 
  • Assist with researching sources of funding and administration associated with bids and appeals for funding
  • Keeping records of income and expenditure connected with events
  • Liaising with and maintaining good relationships with existing and potential.
  • Co-coordinating social media for fundraising
  • Organising visits
  • Responsible for collating and distributing promotional packs/marketing material
 
Ideally from a graduate background, or equivalent, looking for a career in Fundraising / Events or PR. The successful applicant will be highly organised, possess excellent interpersonal skills, a good working knowledge of the databases and the Microsoft Office suite including Word and Outlook.
