Do you have experience within customer care, material supply or production planning?  Are you looking for a new challenge with a leading local employer?  If so we have a really exciting new role so please read on! 
As Planning Coordinator you will take responsibility for the continual development of the order acknowledgement process within the business, ensuring that customer orders are fulfilled efficiently whilst also maintaining relevant costs. Working closely with a number of internal department including sales, procurement and planning, duties will include the following :
  • Simplification of the order entry process 
  • Investigation of time constraints and management of the order confirmation process
  • Monitoring lead times for orders
  • Ensuring supplier and manufacturing planned capacity supports the business plans and forecast
  • Identify and lead process improvements to improve the customer experience
  • Supporting the Planning team with forecasting     
The successful applicant will have experience gained within either customer care, material supply or production planning along with the ability to develop and improve productivity.  Excellent communication skills are essential (both verbal and written) as well as a high level of IT literacy and the ability to devise innovative solutions to problems. In this hands-on role, you will require excellent supervisory and communication skills and be able to effectively deal with both internal staff and external clients/contacts at all levels.
