Are you an experienced Bids Manager with previous experience of Tender and pre-qualification? Are you ready to take the next step in your career with a leading local organisation? If the answer is “yes”, then we would like to hear from you.

As the Bids and Proposals Manager, you will be responsible for leading and controlling the proposal process as well as running the Tender desk, ensuring that quality and consistency are consistent to increase win rate as well as taking ownership for all proposal products managing all stakeholders effectively.
As such, your duties will include:
  • Managing the Tender Desk, following and enforcing the operational processes and procedures implemented.  This include sales support, RFI’s, PQQ’s and Tenders.
  • Conducting daily workflow and engagement planning meetings to allocate work and tasks appropriately, streamline processes and improve communications.
  • Maintaining and managing the database, ensuring all content is managed, cleansed and updated.
  • Develop and maintain links with a wide range of other departments and individuals.
  • Managing and maintaining Master Templates for Tenders to ensure corporate branding is consistent.
  • Maintaining and managing supplier relationships.
  • Review of all tenders before release to client, providing feedback to all parties on content or design improvements.
  • Managing the Tender Log, and providing monthly reports to the business
The successful applicant will have a proven track record within a Bids and Tenders background (exposure to the manufacturing industry would also be useful although not essential).  You will be a confident, task orientated individual and used to working in a demanding work environment. The ideal candidate will have an excellent command of written English and have an extremely high level of attention to detail, especially with document production. Excellent communication and organisational skills, together with the ability to work well under pressure and to deadlines are key.
