Are you an experienced Finance Assistant with knowledge of the Purchase Ledger function, immediately available and can hit the ground running? Our client is looking to recruit a proficient finance clerk to join their busy team as a Finance Assistant on a 4 month temporary contract.

The finance section is a small team, which has a number of key tasks that are required to be carried out within tight timescales.  The successful applicant will be expected to undertake any function of the team as required (training will be given to facilitate this). Tasks to be covered include payments, invoices, cash accounting and bank management. Working as part of a team all finance assistants and clerks will provide a financial support and administration service and although may cover all areas, individuals have specific duties within the role.
The successful applicant will have previous experience of working in a finance team, ability to act tactfully, with discretion and confidentiality, organise resources and interact with others to get things done, as well as good organisational, administration, IT and communication skills.  You will also need the ability to work as a team player to achieve department deadlines with a flexible attitude to work and be motivated and committed at all times.
