Are you a proficient administrator with exceptional data entry skills and experience working within a purchase ledger role? Are you immediately available for a fixed term contract to cover the next few months? Our client has an excellent full time opportunity based in Trowbridge for you!

As their Administration Assistant based within a busy Purchase Ledger department; your main duty will consist of ensuring the accurate recording and prompt payment of supplier invoices sent to our client.  Working within their accounts office, you will perform data entry of invoices and credit notes to their ledger, sending of invoices for appropriate authorisation, resolving any invoicing or supplier queries. You will also assist in the preparation of payment runs, reconciliation of supplier statements, processing petty cash as well as providing support to other finance functions for our client as required in such a role including raising invoices, filing and general accounts administration.
The ideal applicant will have previous knowledge of the Purchase Ledger function with a background in finance administration, an excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel is essential. The successful applicant will be keen, proactive with the ability to deal with numerous inbound levels of invoices, statements, customer and internal calls etc. You will have a good ideal for detail, be extremely organised with good verbal and written communication skills.
