Our client is seeking an experienced and concise Employee Relations Advisor to join their thriving team. This role will provide expert, proactive and pragmatic employment relations support across the business as well as acting as the lead HR adviser for all ER matters.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage complex employee relations casework, including investigations, hearings, grievances, discipline, performance, and organisational change processes.
- Act as a trusted adviser to senior leaders, providing expert employment law guidance, managing risk, and supporting decision-making.
- Oversee and improve HR policies, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with best practice.
- Support managers and HR teams, building capability and handling sensitive people issues with professionalism and discretion.
- Contribute to organisational change and a positive, inclusive workplace culture, promoting fair and consistent people management.
- Proven experience managing complex employment relations casework, including grievances, disciplinaries, investigations and hearings.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
- Experience supporting or delivering restructures and redundancy processes.
- Confidence advising senior leaders and managers on sensitive ER issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including clear report writing.
- Ability to manage multiple cases with discretion, professionalism and sound judgement.
Desirable
- CIPD qualification (Level 5+), legal qualification, or equivalent professional experience.
- Background in employment law, HR advisory or complex employee relations environments.
- Experience within education or a similarly regulated organisation.
