White Horse Employment is partnering with a national logistics business, supporting their search for a Payroll Manager for a 9-month FTC. This role is full time and can be worked almost entirely remotely (1-2 days per month in the office).
Due to a major project of bringing the company’s payroll in-house, this role will be pivotal in ensuring that the day-to-day operations of the payroll team continue business as usual.
A standard day within the role will involve:
- Overseeing a team of Payroll Specialists
- Defining and ensuring KPIs and SLAs are hit and maintained
- Supporting the wider payroll team with any technical issues
- Providing support on all payroll related queries
You will ideally have exposure to weekly, 4-weekly and monthly payroll, and will have strong people management experience. You will have the ability to lead, motivate, coach and develop a team of experienced payroll specialists/administrators.
