Working for a highly recognised PE backed growth organisation in Bristol, you will report into the European FC and lead and mentor a team of professional management accountants. You will take responsibility for one of their European entities and manage the finance function from end to end including, managing risk and controls and month and year end.
This is a hugely varied and challenging role and will include;
  • Involvement with Due Diligence throughout M&A activities
  • Business partnering with FD’s CFO, and other non-finance staff
  • Process improvements
  • Mentoring, training and recruiting staff
  • Delivering the monthly Balance Sheet within set timeline, reconciled to the standard required.
  • Review and sign off monthly P&Ls and delivery of summary variance analysis to budget each month
  • Delivering financial results to the senior leadership team
  • Monthly reviews and sign off’s workings including bad debt, transaction costs, payroll, prepayments and accruals
  • Profit analysis and recommendations
  • Additional value-add projects
This would be an ideal role for a 2nd mover who is qualified CIMA/ACCA/ ACA with at least 3 years post qualified experience within a highly commercial environment.
