Do you have experience within a financial administration role? Do you enjoy working sales ledger, regular contact with suppliers to ensure prompt payment, and maintaining payroll on to Sage? Our client, based in Frome, has an urgent requirement for an Accounts Assistant to join the team and provide vital support to the Finance department.  
Reporting to the Finance Director, this is a varied and responsible role where your duties will include, but not be restricted to:
·         Ensuring invoices are authorised, coded and inputted on Sage.
·         Reconciliation of supplier statements.
·         Dealing with Purchase & Sales Ledger.
·         Running weekly payroll and post on to Sage 50.
·         Prepare quarterly VAT return, and;
·         Other duties required in this role.
To succeed in this role, you will need to have a proven background in accounts and be highly numerate. Along with excellent communication skills, able to prioritise workload and meet strict deadliness. Excellent IT Skills to include Excel and a good knowledge of Sage.
