As a result of continued growth, a software business located near Newport is looking for a Senior and Mid-Level Developer to join it’s small and growing South Wales team. This is an office-based role with the ability to work at home on odd occasions.
 
The company supply, develop and support paperless solutions used by UK blue chip manufacturers and retailers. Modules include both current and legacy web apps, mobile apps and client apps. This software is revolutionizing the way information is monitored and recorded, particularly with regard to quality and manufacturing production information.
 
As a Developer you will be primarily involved with further developing either new modules or updates.
 
Your skill set will include experience of:
·         ASP.NET;
·         .NET Framework / .Net Core;
·         MVC;
·         C#;
·         HTML5;
·         HTML;
·         CSS;
·         JavaScript;
·         SQL Server (2008 – 2016/7);
·         Web Services – SOAP;
·         WCF and Web API;
·         SSRS.
 
The successful Developers will have the following skills and experience:
·         A relevant qualification in computer science/software engineering;
·         Experience of development in a Microsoft environment, particularly .Net Framework;
·         Familiarity with web technologies and languages;
·         An understanding of object orientation and design patterns with the following skill base, ORM (Entity Framework), Visual studio Tool (2008 -2017);
·         Commercial experience in a similar Developer role;
·         Experience with source control such as SVN subversion will be desired;
·         Experience of technologies such as SignalR, Identity Server, OPC/IIoT, Silverlight are desirable;
·         Experience of VB.Net is desirable.
 
 
In return, the Developers will receive a salary of £33,000 - £38,000 pa based on experience plus a laptop will be provided. All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK (sponsorship is not available).
