A high growth FMCG business based in Calne is looking for an ambitious and driven Assistant Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
 
Role
Working across the Group and reporting directly into the senior leadership team, you will provide accountancy and finance support to the wider business.
Responsibilities include:
  • Month end support
  • Maintenance & ownership of fixed asset register
  • Preparation of VAT returns
  • Bank reconciliations and posting of journals/ accruals
  • Providing ad-hoc holiday cover
About You
A part qualified Assistant Accountant OR Finance Assistant (AAT/ CIMA/ ACCA) with demonstrable experience within a similar role, you will be motivated and have the ability to work in a constantly changing and fast paced environment.
You will also possess strong communication and business partnering skills to provide clear and appropriate messages across a wide spectrum of stakeholders.
In addition, you must be highly proficient with MS Excel to pivot tables and SumIf level.
