Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an individual with strong administrative and organisational skills to support the business development team as a Bid Writer/Bid Executive to be involved in the production of customer submissions such as tender documentation, presentations, brochures, and information packs.  This is a temporary assignment that could become permanent for the right applicant.
As their Bid Writer/Bid Executive your main duties will include (but not be restricted to):
  • Proactively create, review and edit customer submissions in line with customer requirements to pre-set deadlines
  • Coordinate strategic customer submissions with the Marketing Manager and Graphic Designer, with reference to content design, creation and branding
  • Liaise with the business development and marketing teams to support the production of tailored customer submissions
  • Carry out proofreading and quality assurance checks to creative output
  • Ongoing management and updating of the bid library. Act as an effective single point of reference for documents, images, case studies and presentations
  • Co-ordinate workload activity, manage daily and weekly tasks, projects and reports and
  • Other duties as required in such a role.
The successful candidate will have experience in a similar role, and demonstrate a high level of IT proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word / Excel / PowerPoint), excellent attention to detail, a degree (or equivalent) in English, Media or related field or A level English language (or equivalent). In addition, experience of copywriting for bids and or presentations as well as first rate grammar, vocabulary, punctuation and style. This role will suit someone with a positive ‘can do’ attitude, enjoys writing and has creative flair. Good interpersonal and communication skills are required, with an ability to build effective relationships under time pressure. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign and Photoshop would be advantageous.
