Are you an experienced Bookkeeper who really enjoys variety in your role? Are you looking to work in a small team in a friendly providing vital book-keeping support, as well and helping with administration and events organising?  Our client is a well-established company looking for a flexible individual to complement their team.

 
Reporting to the Office Manager; as the Book-Keeper, your priority will be to provide accounts support. Ideally with IAB qualification or equivalent. This would suit someone who has worked in a chartered accounts environment.
 
  • Book-keeping
  • Sales ledger
  • Purchases ledger
  • Credit Control
  • Petty Cash
  • Journals
  • VAT returns
  • Monthly accounts
  • Year End accounts
 
In addition; you will provide a full range of administrative support, to include, word processing, updating websites, event management, answering telephone enquiries from suppliers, maintenance of the company databases (Microsoft Access) and other software systems. You will ensure accurate recording of data and information; identifying and actioning errors and referring to managers as appropriate. You will also be responsible for providing reports from the database as required.
 
The successful applicant will have previous accounts experience gained within a similar busy role.  You will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good level of IT experience including Sageline50, Excel and Databases.
