Are you a proficient Secretary looking for your next career challenge? Are you looking to join a friendly local practice that offers an exciting and varied role? Our client, a leading local employer, is looking for an experience secretary, ideally with a background gained in a legal environment, to provide essential secretarial and administrative support.
This is a fantastic opportunity  which will see the Legal Secretary being responsible for:
  • Audio typing of correspondence, reports, forms and other documents
  • Carry out general administration work such as photocopying, filing and sorting post as required.
  • Answering internal calls as well as client calls, taking messages and ensuring appropriate referral.
  • Managing diaries and organise meetings for partners and legal executives where delegated.
  • Maintain all paper and electronic files in an orderly and retrievable manner, and;
  • Other duties as required in such an administrative and executive support role
You will need experience within a busy office environment and ideally will have a good working knowledge of case management systems and digital dictation.
The successful applicant must have a high level of computer literacy with excellent typing skills, you must be able to work on your own initiative often to tight deadlines, be extremely organised in conjunction with excellent administration skills and a good eye for detail. Previous experience in a family law would is essential.
