White Horse Employment are supporting a leading online retailer wth a requirement for a BI analyst. The role has an expectation to be in the office 3 days a week.

The role will have a focus on transitioning this proof of concept over to the group infrastructure and build a suite of reports for takeholders across the business. 
Sitting in the technology arm of the busine this role allows the opportunity to establish a data driven culture in this ecommerce business. 

You will be responsible for building the data warehouse reporting solution initially , then gathering reporting requirements, building, testing and rolling out both power BI reports and data slices with the aim of making teams self sufficient. 

Responsibilities:
           
The job responsibilities are:
 
  • Create and maintain Power BI semantic models and reports based on SQL databases hosted on premise and in the cloud that provide actionable insights to internal stakeholders.
  • Gather and analyze data from various sources, spanning both operational and analytical use cases. Including our own website, ERP, payment gateways, Google Analytics, Customer service tools, etc.
  • Work collaboratively to promote successful adoption of reports across the business.
  • Drive harmonization of KPIs and reporting.
  • Work closely with existing Group colleagues align and share best practices.
  • Support specific data driven projects by helping supply relevant data, perform analysis and generate insights, (eg. Attribution, Customer analysis, commercial and pricing)
  • Explore and understand the data available from the Group's various systems and data sources in close collaboration with Data Engineering team
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to wider team members, fostering their professional development and growth.
  • Support the wider team by testing technology releases, and aiding technical investigation and resolution if required.
