“It is so generous and thoughtful of you to give us all the computers. Thank you so much. You will have helped many children access remote learning. Perhaps one day you will be able to visit the school so we can thank you in person.

Nearly everyone has become familiar with working from home by now. What we might not think about however, is that many young people have also had to learn to study remotely too! Unfortunately, it has recently became clear that there are many schools and children who are facing significant challenges to their education due to lack of access to technology and resources. At White Horse Employment, we care about supporting our community, and we wanted to do something to help this ongoing problem.

Everyone should have proper access to education and educational resources, especially during such a challenging time. So, a few weeks ago, we donated 12 mini desktops, screens, and keyboards to Lulworth and Winfrith School CE VE primary school in Dorset! A family member of one of the Whitehorse team is a Governor at the school, and was able to set up communication with the head of the school to organise our donation.

Before donating the computers, Priority IT volunteered to clean them for us. It would not have been possible to provide the school with the technology without them – so a huge thank you to them from us. We are so glad that we were able to provide important resources to such a well-deserving school – who sent us a beautiful bouquet and card to say thank you! It feels great to be able to work together and give something back during this difficult time.
