JOB TITLE: Risk Manager  LOCATION: South West SALARY & BENEFITS:£45-65k plus 5% bonus 

We are pleased to be partnering with an international service provider client who are the fastest growing in their field. With revenues of over £1.3bn and over 1600 sites they operate a high growth model, and are looking to acquire 300 sites per annum across all countries moving forward.

About the role and the ideal candidate…

 The successful applicant will be responsible for manging the Group’s Corporate Risk Register, you will be a capable and experienced Manager who can illustrate the ability to question, influence and initiate change.  You will have significant experience and a proven track record of working in Risk Management in a large international organisation. A qualification from the Institute of Risk Management (e.g., Certificate in Operational Risk Management or similar) is desirable, but not essential, depending on depth of experience in a Risk Management role. You will also be a proven problem-solver with strong analytical and qualitative skills. You will be able to communicate and manage relationships with a wide range of groups and individuals, at different levels within your peer group and above to Executive level.

The role purpose is to create an environment of risk awareness, promoting risk reduction and internal control improvement. Other aspects include:

  • Championing risk management; support the embedding of risk management practices & activities into the business
  • Encourage the sharing of best practice, with our Support Operations Centre and across our clinical teams.
  • Promote a standardised approach to managing risk and highlighting areas of inconsistency if they occur.
  • Support the Group Director of Risk Management in evaluating employees’ risk awareness and train them when necessary
