White Horse Employment are thrilled to be working exclusively with a National L500 Law firm, which is expanding its Private Client Agriculture & Landed Estates Team with Multiple Opportunities available

Opportunity 1: Legal Secretary

Salary: From £27,675

We are also seeking a full-time Legal Secretary to provide comprehensive secretarial support to fee earners in the Private Client Agriculture & Landed Estates Team. This role is based in Devizes and is vital to ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Typing and processing legal documents, correspondence, and court forms (including track changes)
  • Handling probate, wills, trusts, conveyancing, and Court of Protection documentation
  • Managing diaries, appointments, and client meetings
  • File management, storage, and retrieval
  • Emailing, photocopying, faxing, and document binding
  • Providing support to other secretaries and fee earners
  • Maintaining confidentiality and security of all documentation
  • Occasional reception duties as required

Experience & Skills Required:

  • Extensive secretarial experience; legal experience highly desirable
  • Excellent audio typing and MS Office skills
  • Strong communication and numeracy skills
  • Self-organised, motivated, and proactive

Qualifications:

  • Secretarial/typing qualifications (minimum RSA2 or equivalent)
  • Core GCSEs or equivalent

Opportunity 2: Private Client Paralegal / Legal Executive / Solicitor

Salary: From £31,000 (Paralegal) | £50,000+ (Qualified Solicitor, 3+ years PQE)

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Private Client professional to work alongside experienced partners. You will assist a Partner with an established caseload while managing your own workload independently. Agricultural client experience is desirable but not essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing your own caseload of private client work
  • Supporting Partners and collaborating with the wider team
  • Attending client meetings and visits as required
  • Preparing and reviewing legal documentation

Experience & Skills Required:

  • 3+ years post-qualification experience in private client work
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills
  • Strong ICT skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach to work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to high-quality work and client service
