White Horse Employment is working on a retained basis with E G Martin and Western Skip Hire, supporting their search for a Company Accountant. This is a unique opportunity to replace a long-standing member of staff who is retiring.
This role is a varied and broad role, as you will be responsible for a wide range of duties, which include:
- VAT returns for both entities
- Producing monthly management accounts for both entities
- Bank reconciliations
- Supporting the wider finance team
- Liaising with external payroll provider
- Managing the fixed asset register
Due to the small size of both of these companies, this role is very hands on and you may be involved in other elements of the business such as answering the office phone and any other general administration duties.
This role is office based and the company are located on the West Wilts Trading Estate in Westbury. There is free parking onsite and this role has the potential to be worked over a 4 day working week if desired.
