Employer Relations and Change Management Lead

We have a new opportunity for an Employer Relations and Change Management Lead to join our friendly HR team based in Trowbridge on a permanent contract.


About the role

The main focus of the position will be to provide advice and support on all aspects of employee relations including sickness, absence, conduct, performance and grievance cases. You will ensure the cases progress in a timely manner in line with our policies, employment legislation and best practice guidance.

Other aspects of the role will include –

  • Working in partnership with the senior leadership team and senior managers to implement organisational change initiatives; ensuring the business meets its obligation to consult with employees and recognised Trade Unions
  • Leading HR inductions with new employees
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures in line with changes to legislation and best practice
  • Developing and delivering training sessions for managers
  • Assisting with the production and analysis of regular reports on HR activity for use at management meetings
  • Leading on designated area/s of the HR Strategy and projects

To apply for this role, you will hold a CIPD Level 5 qualification or have the equivalent level of experience and knowledge. You will have proven, demonstrable experience within a similar position including managing employee relations cases and project work. You will be a strong communicator who is comfortable providing advice and support to managers and employees. You will have up to date knowledge of employment law and experience of developing policies and procedures.
