White Horse Employment are working exclusively with a leading organisation to recruit an experienced HR Advisor for a 9-12 month fixed-term contract
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing and dynamic business. This is a varied, hands-on role within a supportive HR team, providing generalist advice and guidance across all areas of HR.
The successful candidate will act as a trusted partner to managers, supporting employee relations, promoting best practice, and ensuring compliance with employment law and company policies. You will play a key role in advising, coaching and guiding managers, while contributing to wider HR projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Provide professional advice to managers and employees on all HR matters, including performance, absence, disciplinary and grievance issues.
Manage employee relations casework and ensure fair and consistent application of policies and procedures.
Coach and support managers to develop confidence in handling people-related matters.
Contribute to HR projects such as TUPE transfers, redundancy consultations and organisational change.
Support the review and delivery of training on key HR policies and processes.
Produce reports and HR metrics using HR systems, monitoring KPIs such as absence and turnover.
Assist in reviewing and updating HR documentation, templates and policies.
Support HR operations, including issuing contracts and letters, new starter processes and staff benefits administration.
Provide data and administrative support for employee forums and HR-led initiatives.
About You
Essential:
Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor role.
Strong background in employee relations and advising managers on HR policy and practice.
Good working knowledge of current employment legislation.
Experience using HR systems and case management tools.

Be confident with Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
CIPD 3 or above qualified
GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths, grade C or above.
Full UK driving licence and access to your own transport.
Desirable:
Experience developing HR policies and processes.
Exposure to restructuring, redundancy and TUPE processes.
Experience working across multiple sites.
Coaching managers and delivering training.
