The role will support a portfolio of organisations that don't have a dedicated HR function and require coaching and mentoring both with people managers and business leaders.  Our client operates a de-centralised practice therefore aligning the portfolio is not an element of the role, but ensuring each individual business is true to their own core values, has strong employee engagement, a robust succession plan and regular reviews on organisational development, ensuring each employee is adding real value to the business; these are the key priorities along with talent management and generalist HR duties.

You'll be joining the portfolio in its infancy therefore adaptability and a desire to grow and develop alongside the portfolio is essential.  Change management and leadership is also a key element of the role, decisions may be changed, priorities reconsidered, and the successful applicant will be comfortable to lead and support an ever-changing environment.  Adhering to leadership changes and guiding on the best people process to translate business objectives.

The successful applicant will be an ambitious, commercially minded, proficient HR leader with the ability to move quickly and provide expert guidance to a fast paced and changing environment. Experience operating internationally would be a benefit to this role.  Knowledge and/or experience of mergers and acquisitions is not essential but will be a strong advantage for any applicant.
