Reporting to the IT Operations manager your day to day will consist of
- Supporting and installing of Workstations/Servers/UPS and supporting networking equipment
- Supporting and installing of Access point equipment at heights both inside and outside
- Installation/commissioning of Power/Data/Fibre Optic cabling
- Working to agreed customer SLA’s and KPI’s
The ideal candidate will:
• Be able to work independently in the field, as well as working closely with customers, suppliers and third parties
• Have excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
• Have the ability to work at heights (full training will be provided)
• Experience working with tools in the Electrical sector/IT and networking equipment.
• Hold a full, valid UK Driving License for a minimum of 2 years.
This role would suit an individual who has some experience and skills in an Electrical \ IT \ Engineering related field who would like to learn more about the Information technology and public transport sector.
You will receive a company van, fuel card, as well as a generous 25-28k salary and discretionary bonus.
The role will be a field based position where you work from home but will be expected to travel to client locations.
