The IT Business Partners sits as a team within the IT Service department.
Key accountabilities
- Own the relationship between the business and IT and act as an ambassador for IT
- Identify the key IT challenges and issues
- Understand the business requirements and identify how IT can support these
- Identify current and future demand for IT services
- Support the business through any change management activity
- Identifying and exploring opportunities for service and business improvement. You will drive analysis and identify, prioritise and implement improvements and efficiencies, thereby ensuring that the organisation derives maximum value from services
- Assist in managing the relationship with 3rd party suppliers to ensure that the business is receiving the best possible service.
- Coordinate information to ensure all relevant parties internal/external are involved and aware
