White Horse are pleased to be working with a leading global business based in Melksham who are looking for a forward-thinking Transport Planner to join their skilled logistics team.
Duties will include but not be limited to:
- Compiling vehicle load schedules
- Supporting both the planning and warehouse operations to achieve complete and on time deliveries for all customer orders
- Load sizing and scheduling
- Managing planning regarding delivery access and times
- Direct load planning
- Assigning vehicles, drivers and sub-contractors
Ideally you will have:
- Experience in transport or logistics preferable
- Excellent organisational skills
- First class verbal and written communications skills
- Computer literate
- Ability to problem solve
