The Service Configurator will be responsible for supporting, administering, and developing the Zendesk platform used within the organization. This includes configuring and maintaining the full suite of Zendesk products (Support, Guide, Explore, Sunshine, Gather, Talk, Apps) and related integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as an expert on Zendesk functionality to standardize and grow its use across the business
- Gather requirements, design solutions, and implement configuration changes
- Manage data, create queries/dashboards, and build workflows/automations
- Ensure optimal performance, monitoring, security, and documentation
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to achieve objectives
- Assist with incidents, service requests, changes following ITIL practices
- Application design and development using APIs, coding (JSON, JavaScript, etc.)
Requirements:
- Strong technical skills (APIs, coding, databases, Excel)
- Knowledge of IT Service Management tools (Zendesk, Jira) and frameworks
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work occasional off-hours during projects/implementations
